Billy Gameti is a pineapple farmer with the Blue Skies farmer group. He started farming in 1995 while in his early twenties. At that time he had just one acre of pineapple but he was soon able to expand this to five acres after Blue Skies started their operations in 1998 and Billy became one of the pioneer suppliers to the business.
Billy quickly became a consistent and reliable partner to Blue Skies. He now has over 350 acres of pineapple in cultivation and is recognised as a gem in Ghana’s pineapple industry, having won many awards and been visited on numerous occasions by ministers and top ranking officials
Billy is married with two daughters. In his free time he likes to play cards and watch movies.
