The Blue Skies Foundation kicked off the first of its 2016 projects in Ghana this month at sod cutting ceremonies at Nuwale where the Foundation is constructing a clinic for this coconut growing community in the Western Region of Ghana, and Kyinto (pictured) where a three classroom school block is being built for a Junior High School close to the Blue Skies compost site near Nsawam.
In total eleven Foundation projects are earmarked for 2016 including two classroom blocks, four water projects and phase two of the School Farm of the Year competition. Many of this year’s projects are expected to be completed by July.
